SchoolCenter joined the ranks of industry notables such as Adobe, Cold Fusion 9, and Salesforce.com for the coveted "Best Web Services Solution" award. SchoolCenter announces Imaginative Classroom Website Contest winners. Winners were selected from nearly 300 entries and were chosen according to pre-defined criteria: usability, student interaction and engagement and parental involvement and communication.

Bixby Public Schools, a SchoolCenter client, was recently awarded
Website of the Month by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Each month,
the state requests nominations for the best school or district website and
selects one monthly winner.
The Bixby Public Schools website has
become a useful resource for parents, students, staff and community members as
a chief form of communication throughout the district.
The district's use of online tools such as
calendars, document storage and podcasts provides up to date information for
all district members.

The U.S. Department of Education has recently announced the Terrel H. Bell Award for Outstanding School Leadership at the 2009 Blue Ribbon Schools Award Ceremony.
